Starplot privacy policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

The short version

Starplot does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and it works entirely offline.

What stays on your device

Your puzzle progress, solved levels, times, statistics and settings are saved on your phone, inside the app's own storage, so you can pick up where you left off. We never receive it. Settings can also save a backup file of your progress and restore it later. That file is created only when you ask, is saved wherever you choose, and is never sent to us. If you use Android's own backup, it may be included in your device backup to your Google account, so your progress follows you to a new phone; that backup is managed by Google under your account, not by us. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes it from your device.

Network access

The app makes no network requests. It does not send your data to us or to any third party.

Permissions

The app uses vibration for gentle feedback when you place stars, which you can turn off in Settings. It asks for no other sensitive permissions.

Children

The app collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
